I get it.
You see a cause, you see a good way to earn some : merit / goodwill / karma (take your pick)
And you want to : Be a poor man's Satoshi / Be Rich / Have control over your army of shitcoin miners
And then comes this guy slapping you with the truth :
it 100% not useless. Its barely needed.
So I suggest you take a long deep look at whether this is actually needed by the community, the miners you want to come mine your shitcoin, they've got bills to pay. If you are not improving majorly on the pre-existing tech, then you are at least a ripoff artist. You will not be able to give any reason for the miners to come and mine your coin.
This is not 2016/17 anymore. On the other hand
If you really passionately believe this is something
you want to do, then this would be the right time to teach yourself how to code and fork BTC yourself.
Waste your own time first before you ask others to waste their time on you.
