There are lots of other discussion boards dealing with politics, so if you don't like the moderation in that one section here....find another place to talk about that stuff, maybe?
I second that, and for me the serious discussion board is appropriate for that, i myself feel more comfortable posting real life matters and also topics on politics, philosophy etc in the SD section, the only thing is it probably doesn't get enough traffic as it will in the P&S board, but that's not a problem, few good replies is actually better than unnecessary back and forth arguments and incessant complaints on censorship.
