Tommy started working on Energi in mid-2017. Energi was officially launched on April 14th, 2018.

The team is now close to 50 people as of recently.

Energi moved from PoW to PoS earlier this year. You can stake with as little as 1 NRG we have a guide on our website here: https://www.energi.world/staking/

By total amount, do you mean total coin supply? There is no maximum number of coins in Energi because the Treasury and Masternode allocation are essential to Energis survival, and are essentially the engine behind Energi. Thus we do not see a reason to give Energi a death sentence by removing its engine.
