Without Lassiter, SMB's performance remain the same.
I don't think so. They are not as cohesive and I think the SMB head coach has been experimenting a lot in the first four games of this series. With Lassiter in the line up, SMB may be 3-1 up by now.
Lassiter is part of the SMB's death line-up and he could be a big help if he is not injured but at the same time it does not guarantee that they will have an edge on this series. We have seen Lassiter struggle from the 3's also but we can't deny the fact that he is also a good defender and there is no off night if you are one hell of a defender. The real strength of SMB is Fajardo and they should continue to find him down low for that high percentage field goal.
It all comes down to JMF after all. When he got the ball, he can see open teammates behind the arc but as we can see there is no one who is deadly in that area. Lassiter is the missing piece for the offense of SMB since he has the highest percentage for three point field goals. It would have been 3-1 if Lassiter was able to play but worry not because SMB got the ref in replacement for Lassiter. LOL!
