Do you actually expect someone to go through all the effort to download a APP to scan the QR code to see if the product is original or pirate? Most consumers want to buy cheap knockoffs because they are "cheaper" than the original and they look like the original. 
The original manufacturers should find a way to produce these goods at a lower price and not to rely on their Brand to ask ridiculous inflated prices for their product. I have bought some "fake" products that lasted me longer than the original product, so it can be done.
