Clearly most customers will NOT go through the process of installing the APP and scanning the QR - whether it's about clothes or medicines. You really expect that the nurse at hospital will check/scan each and every item?!
And then the next "step" comes. Clearly the counterfeit items will have - sooner or later - the same type of QR, maybe even copy from a genuine product. And unless nobody scan one from that batch, all are just fine. Not a great leap forward. Also, you'll have to do something about the QR of the products that expire.
All in all, the solution is far from perfect, unless I've missed something.

In the way I see this is that you will have to ensure in a way or another (by contract or with the authorities) checks for duplicates and some sort of marks what was checked when and where.
So the solutions for doing this are wider and more expensive than just providing blockchain(s) for this job.
The nurse will not check, they don’t pay for it. And the buyer in the pharmacy will be.
In third world countries, 35% of drugs are fake. This is a serious problem.
Users of product brands will be the same.
There are many people for whom this is important.
The application creates the opportunity for marketing interaction between brand owners and end customers.
We are also finalizing this option.
In the future, we will integrate our platform with a payment system.
Then the average person will not pay attention to this at all.
Until 10 years ago, no one paid attention to whether the site has an SSL certificate, and now I do not go to sites without it.
