I doubt Chelsea will have a good season
It is still early.
Lampard needs time to build a strong team again. Plus they can't buy players because of a case. Chelsea must always be ready for what happens in the future, and just look at the end of the season. Are your doubts true that Chelsea won't play well this season.
It is early, but it would also be early to say City or Liverpool are going to be the winners but people are making their predictions on what they think is going to happen. I would be surprised if things didn't go bad for Chelsea. No new signings, a new inexperienced manager, and losing their star striker. What could go right here???
I agree it's too early to shoot them down and Lampard and co should be given a chance, but the odds re stacked against them. I'm actually looking forward to the Chelsea/Leicester game and Wolves vs Man United. I think they both could be close but lets see how Chelsea do at home and United away.
