. 2 words to explain what happened to them in the last 10 mins of the game. THEY CHOKED!!!!!!.The momentum has switched already and the odds on the market now will favor on the other side now. If you will see, the last minutes of the game is pure ISO of Jones. He doesn't pass that much and he has 6 turnovers on the quarter alone. In the crucial time, he missed his shot that can give them the lead. No flops. Its just the defense of the SMB gave them the win. Clean game for the SMB.
He is really one of those underrated guys in PBA, he is already 30 years old but only got recognized during 2017 when he got the first overall drop pick of SMB.
They are using him now for 2 reasons. 1 is because he is a good defender and he can move faster compare to Fajardo. He can cope up with Jones that is why he is playing more now in the Finals. I think the 2nd reason is there are some rumors I saw in the internet that he will be traded in other teams since his minutes in SMB is limited only.
