This doesn't help a lot. I mean that I may understand the devs doing kinda things, but it's always different in different situations and with different projects. However, the users may need some coherence.
I don't find this so annoying (even if i was myself wondering why i was not able to move my jrt from a wallet to another). I asked on telegram (https://t.me/jarvisexchange) and got a fast & adequate answer. Feel free to do the same for more infos
