In my opinion, as long as it's new, very hard to tell if it is safe to invest. You have to observe and analyze the coin's fluctuation on the market, then make a decision to minimize the risk.
Just be careful with any platform that provide attractive deal or huge profit, they might be a scammer (not all of them).
