Interesting start of the season. Barcelona unexpectedly lost away at Bilbao (1-0). They had huge possession as always (73%) but only 2 shoots on target. Griezmann, Suarez and Dembele will need to step up their game.
The tactical experiments of Ernesto Valverde are not suited for Barcelona, and the board has to have seen that. He starts the season trying to force entertaining football and then later switch to his more convenient, cautious style of football which does not relate with the Barcelona style.
The heavy dependence on Messi would continue regardless of how many big names they sign.
