I am really curious what project was that, OP. I would be willing to look into it if "something" at least happened at that movie they were planning at.
If there's gonna be a plot for a movie dedicated for Bitcoin, I'll be kinda expecting that it would involve hackers in the net. Pretty much those exchanges that were attacked by hackers could be a good inspiration of a plot from it.
Somehow I believe that it will be kinda grab the curiosity of people that doesn't even know any single thing about Bitcoin. I imagine putting simplistic titles like "The Blockchain" as its first movie.
