There are school of thoughts and preach that HODL is one of the smartest and safest way to invest. I mean for a newbie trader who just learn how to invest, then I would say that it's a good strategy. But as you go along and gain the needed experience, anyone can attempt and try to be a trader just like the rest of us are doing. Just continue to give us updates though and see how it goes. Maybe someone out there are going to learn a lot of lessons from you. But I'm not into swing trader though, you need to be really active and have the a lot of time in your hand to watch the price so its really tiresome and monotonous and you can easily feel a exhausted day-in/day out.
