Agree wholeheartedly OP, but I just want to say that there are many better options for discussing bitcoin and they will eventually supersede this forum in importance now that it's been spun off from the main site.

Seriously, try the bitcoin subreddit. Keeps up with the important news, has a reasonable trickle of new users asking interesting questions, and is generally more balanced and worthwhile than most of the stuff here.
