Interesting.  A Raspberry Pi attached to a massive hard drive?  What kind of content delivery system are you going to use, torrents?  Will people have to buy outright, or even subscribe to the service to pay for the hardware?  How do you intend to market this system?

Good luck with your project.   Just remember, if you are part of this "board of directors" or even if it's just you, we will not be impressed that you have an entire group of people just to approve your $20 purchase.  Be honest, open and transparent to the community and remember not to spam.
