Hey guys, I was wondering about Bitcoin, blockchain and cryptos in general and their relation to the games industry

We all know, people at my age (31 years) growed up playing games, surfing the internet and they are  very close to technology in general

Games always have put new technologies to evolving the market, like: Internet to play multiplayer games, virtual reality and 3d to have a deeper experience, photorealism, payment inside app/game and etc

But until now, games industry didn't use any new technology related to cryptos

Do you think they will use?
And if yes, how they can use BTC, blockchain and cryptos in general?

The only and most obvious for me is use cryptos to pay games, in steam, psn, xbox live and etc, but I'd like to see your ideas guys

it is really strange that gaming industry is very cautious in adopting crypto
I'm talking about the mainstream companies , so far they only ventured into the "you could pay for games in crypto "
G2A and MMOGA come to mind , but if Steam accepted crypto again , for example ....

for some reason Valve found the experiment was a failure Sad
so far the games you can play are all gambling related or collectibles like Kitties
this is a huge market to explore , it is only a matter of time when a good blockbuster game about crypto is created

Yes I agree, but I see on thread that people have good arguments about the legality if BTC and another cryptos, the big companies do not want to have their brands linked to cryptos if this will cause any problem or any bad advertising fot them
And I agree with that, is a delicate subject

But I hope they found a good use to this technology
