I wouldn't be so sure about that. Properly managing your bankroll is a good thing because you can last longer, you can play more games, enjoying the game while losing little. But no math can help you to stack the odds in your favor. You can still win, and you can even win big, only your strategy is irrelevant in that regard. Applying math you can see only one thing: the higher your profit, the less probable that outcome was to occur.

But in the world we live in, very improbable events happen all the time, and that's why we have big winners in gambling.
