It is doubtful that we are going to see such a price increase by the end of the year, the price of bitcoin which has been the main driver of the recovery of the market is going nowhere and as such most of the coins in the rest of the market are doing the same, ethereum is not showing any increase in its demand and with ieos now getting most of the funding for new projects I do not see how this is going to change during this year, the outlook should be better for the next year but forget for any dramatic growth in the price of ETH during the next months.
It's just too unfair that Bitcoin is enjoying the increase in price while ETH is stuck in a stable price $200 to $300.
IEOs and smart contracts are the ones that are making ETH hard to follow the trend of Bitcoin.
It will take a lot of efforts to push the price of ETH close to $500 but i guess if Bitcoin starts to grow next year drastically.
There is nothing unfair about what is happening, bitcoin is the best coin in the market and its value was very low so a correction was bound to eventually happen, this made many investors to reconsider their investments in altcoins and they began to sell their coins so they could buy bitcoin, and when you add the fierce competition that ETH is going through then it is not really a surprise to see ETH performing so badly against bitcoin, however ethereum is not the only coin underperforming almost all altcoins are doing the same.
