I believe what you say will happen if you see the current market is too striking difference between altcoin and bitcoin on the market today.
The adoption should be related to the increase in incoming investment or only investors who rotate their money on some assets in the market. if there should be an increasing adoption of crypto it will be offset by price increases in the market, and now that is not the case.
