Collateralized debt obligations != "woooooo!"

Collateralized debt obligations == "BooHoo!"

I forgot my sarcasm tag Cheesy

Despite the fact i used "Grin" in my post about subprime mortgages, we should think about some "wall street type guys"-functions.
Just because something is not in the NXT core, doesnt mean we cant implement something on top of it. There are no restrictions that all NXT services have to be decentralized. the core must be, but I imagine the vast majority of end use services will have at least some part of it centralized.

If you think about it each and every NXT Asset is centralized, eg. single point of failure at the Asset issuer. So, everyone can build whatever real world analogue they want, using the NXT infrastructure.

That is what I did with nodecoin. It is totally centralized as I have it hardcoded reporting in to one of my servers, but I was able to create very coin-like functionality in one day. That is the power of NXT, with a little imagination, you can pretty much do anything.

If anybody has something they want to see, but you dont know how it could be built on top of NXT, just ask! With AM, NXT is already "Turing complete" so basically anything can be implemented, just need some programming
