What makes you think that Legendary members have obtained a professional level of knowledge on Bitcoin and related matters? There are plenty of Legendary members that are still almost clueless on the subject.

Remember, before the implementation of Merit, you could rise to the level of Legendary without having contributed anything of value. In fact, simply spamming the forum every day for a maximum of 1,000 days would have awarded this spammer with Legendary status.

Conversely, there are lower level members, such as full and sr members that have almost encyclopaedic knowledge of the space, making them far more useful than any spamlord Legendary. I would much rather engage somebody of a lower rank who knows there stuff, than an empty-headed higher rank.
