Ducks of a feather flock together right? We felt bad for anyone who got burned by Mining Road ... so we waddled through the thread and found an interesting breadcrumb.

How did we find him, well when deleting all Mining-Road's spam posts last week, we noticed that this post had a different twitter handle than alllll of the other posts on the forum...so we left it up just in case.

How is that the dev's fault? I got sucked up by Mining-Road as well, but I blame me for not going to a pool that may have better history. It was solely my fault for not investigating them further. Every coin puts up supported links as long as everything looks legit, mining road seemed legit for the longest time until off course, payouts were frozen.
Anyways, It would be nice to get reimbursed because I did have 0.00048+ with mining road
and I lost that, but I can't blame the devs or ask them to fund me... wouldn't be really their fault..
as I said, its my fault too for using them instead of the other choices.
The Dev made mining-road the "official pool" of the launch. With an endorsement like that, I don't see how the dev doesn't have at least some responsibility for pointing miners to that pool. That's why I signed up with mining-road. If the dev was behind it, it should have been on the level.
