There is a new hardware wallet in town : Satochip
Maybe the very first affordable and open source hardware wallet in the world !

Satochip stands for Secure Anonymous Trustless and Open Chip.
Similarly to your bank card, it is a javacard applet that can be used as a small form factor and secure hardware wallet.

This card :

- is super cool  
- has a low-form factor
- is wheater resistant
- embeds a quality and open source code
- supports several cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash
- can be used with the Electrum client

Currently, the team is focused on the coin integration. So far, we support :

- Bitcoin through the use of Electrum Bitcoin client (with the Satochip plugin)


- Bitcoin Cash through the use of Electron Cash client (natively supported since v. 4.0.11)
- Bitcoin Cash SLP token through the use of Electron Cash SLP version (natively supported since v. 3.6.1)


- Litecoin through the use of Electrum Litecoin client (with the Satochip plugin)
