I use a subsidiary of Takeaway to order food almost on a weekly basis and pay for it in Bitcoin. Not sure when they started accepting it, but I started using them back in early 2018, so at least 1.5 years now.
Since November 2013, according to Wikipedia.

This is great news, when will this feature be introduced to the US ?
Takeaway.com largely operates within Europe, so you won't see bitcoin payments becoming available via them in the US. If you want to pay with bitcoin, have you tried contacting the vendors/merchants you wish to pay and asking them to accept bitcoin? They won't start accepting bitcoin if they don't know there is a demand for it. In the meantime, you could spend bitcoin at Bitrefill to purchase gift cards for Uber Eats, Burger King, Domino's, Papa John's, and a whole bunch of others.

I do not think that anyone wants to misguide anyone
Let me introduce you to BCH/BSV. Wink
