Agreed.  In my opinion, Auroracoin may be the single most exciting coin of 2014 thus far.  That 50% of it was premined to give to the 350,000 people of Iceland and that the developer has a fair, efficient way to do it, is amazing.  This coin may literally become THE currency of a small island nation.  The people of Iceland have shown that they are sick of the global economic house of cards and have had the strength to buck the trend.  At the current value of Auroracoin, each person in Iceland will be getting over $100.00 in coins.  However, the Icelandic "Airdrop" will not be happening until early March and I suspect that $100.00 in coins will be worth more by then.  If YOU were offered $100+ for free, would you take it?
