I would like to download some music from youtube. I found some web apps what enable this, but they usually download the whole video. I want only the music, so I need tool what extracts the music from the video. Any suggestion?

I use mpsyt (https://github.com/mps-youtube/mps-youtube). It's an open-source terminal-based YT player and downloader. There's a nice community that keeps the project updated all the time.
You can opt to only download a video's audio stream if you wish.
Note: I've only used it under Linux but it should also work in Windows as well.
