Because Bitcointalk is one of the first bitcoin forums ever(3rd as far as I know? second forum being hosted on forum.bitcoin.org), and that Satoshi was the original owner. Also, Bitcointalk is currently the biggest bitcoin forum; a lot bigger than the alternatives by a huge margin.
