What makes a coin dead? I would say when it has no active nodes, no trading volume and no development, in that order. Anyone have a different definition?
My second question, why does CMC still list these coins!?!?!?

you already knew the definitions from a dead coin mate
as i knew coinmarketcap will remove it buddy, because a lot of tokens in my eth wallet didn't exist at coinmarketcap list  Wink
Your tokens didn't listed on CMC because of other reason. Mostly it's because your tokens haven't listed in at least 2 exchanges to able listed on CMC or it still need other requirement to listed on CMC. It's rarely for CMC removed any token just because it's not active or no any development
They do have that listing criteria https://coinmarketcap.com/methodology/#listings-criteria
and as said CMC do barely remove up these dead coins if we try to look up on the https://coinmarketcap.com/all/views/all/ it do have
2300+ listed and on the bottom are already considered shitcoins.
