Crypto assets are not always simple in their behavior. If there is good news, the price may fall and persist in case of bad news.

all options is possible for all cryptocurrency including ethereum
i think $4000 is to high for eth before 2021, but $40 is too low for eth before 2021 mate
and maybe the most reasonable price for eth is about $2000 before 2021  Wink
The dreams don't become reality if the  ETH POS news goes to be a fact this year. In my opinion, the price will fall and touch the $100 before the end of the year. The possibility of hitting low prices is more than hitting higher prices. In this situation, the 2021 predictions will stay just a guess.

Buying rumours is considered as risky trading excepting that the trader will be able to sell the same tokens in above the average market prices. Positive thinking will not add any contributions to the ETH developmetns but the situation will change after the ETH 2.0 in my opinion.
