When BTC Bitcoin pumps in 2020 after halving, what effect will it have alt coins?
If we believe that the halving of 2020 will have effect on bitcoin and would serve as a catalyst, its fine, but I usually dint see much relationship between bitcoin activities and altcoins, even if investors got so much money from the increase of bitcoin after the halving, they might still not out the money in altcoins as we assume, and if they are to consider altcoins would only consider the altcoins that are within the top 10 in the market, so those are the coins that I felt would have effect because of the increase of bitcoin in 2020.
Speaking of other altcoins, I think they are solely responsible for whatever happens to them, if any altcoin wants to progress, they have to work hard and make a product that will always be of interest to people and community.
Yeah, I think it's fine in general to say that Bitcoin, when it does well, the rest of crypto of course gets a lot of spill back. People are more willing to spend btc on alts and invest in ICOs and what not.
But direct halving has very little impact in my mind. Price in the end is what talks to btc/alt pairings.
