Well Ethereum never died, it is only moving in consonance with other altcoin but trust me, ethereum might surprise us, also it has more acceptability after bitcoin so we hope to see the value of ethereum rise.
Ethereum does not particularly try to develop in the market, now there are coins that are much superior to this coin , I think in the future this coin can go down , as many altcoins go down in capitalization, because very strong coins enter the market.

For as long as I know, ethereum has a good platform, has a good community support and has a big impact to the investors. It wasn't dead but did a good rest. Hence, the down moments is just a natural thing and that we are still waiting for the ethereum to rise higher than $300-500.

I find it amusing when some think a coin is dead just because it has decreased in value. It's like nobody remembers 2017/18, plenty of coins that were pretty low in price went kind of crazy. Besides, price alone isn't an indicator if a coin is 'alive' or 'dead'.
