you cant compare bitcoin to cmc because bitcoin is a currency and cmc is only a website .
sure btc do also have some flaws but its the most trusted coin and the first crypto that is invented while there are other better alternatives to cmc and cmc is not the first website that can provide information when it comes to cryptos
. cmc is now on a hot issue lately because alot of users complain about thier inaccuracy and manipulations . cmc can really be easily replaced by a new and honest website that can offer the same service
CMC is working assiduously to correct the figures produced by fake volume exchange, although I thought it should have been implement a long time after they announced the plan to review it. Coingecko, a similar website is dong the same with the misinformation because of the fake volume on exchanges. I also think we might need to look more into daily traded volume than market cap, traders and investors might consider review on active market coin than the marketcap
