Totalitarianism, yes - lurching that way - but it is appearing in the form of nationalism and as far as I can see it seems to be coming more from the right wing than the left in the West.
We know you are a leftie so your opinion carries no weight. But for general information, culture always moves from right to left over time. Nationalism is a right wing thing. It is on the decline, and has been for decades. Multiculturalism is the opposite of nationalism.

USA, China, Russia, Brazil, Italy, Spain / Catalan, Even Hongkong ffs.. and the big daddy of all - INDIA.

Until we actively start killing communists and executing traitors (most notably the british ones), the trend will continue to be towards the left. Trump and people like him may have bought us a few years, but ultimately they are just a temporary speedbump. The overall trend has not been reversed. And india continues to remain the cuckistan capital of the world, men are being abducted and forced into marriage there.
