It was possible before but not anymore. They started to forbid the funds coming from an exchange (back in 2017 maybe), and then straight away everything related to crypto. It's not about competition.
Paypal is horrible as an alternative, 2.5% FX fee sucks. Transferwise charges 0.5% and @OP may not have a SEPA account so he can't transfer the funds from Mistertango to his local bank account, hence using TW
@OP you can maybe use Uphold.com? I doubt they're 'anti-crypto' since there is Bitcoin as deposits option
