Yes. Like my religion will say, you cannot serve God and mammon. If you are for gambling, then stay for gambling and if your religion is against it, then flee from it. There is no point living a double standard life and living in confusion. If the reason to play is for money, there are other ways to make money, mustnt be on gambling alone. I dislike it when people live a confused life. If my culture or belief was against gambling, I would not have any reason to be a part of it. It's not that easy many times
I would assume that you are an atheist. So, the God of all religions are merciful and they know that human beings aren't perfect. Because only God is perfect. So, human beings will make mistakes. If God ordered them to not gamble, doesn't mean one can't follow God while disobeying him once in a often and then repent later. It's an addiction that knows no religion or belief, and God is well aware of it I guess
