Agreed, everyone was up in arms when Donald Trump suggested that they should build a Wall between the USA and Mexico and the cost of this wall was supposedly about $21.6 billion. I think Andrew Yang is targeting the poor and unemployed voters with promises like this.
I have been in countries where the government have large social grants for unemployed people and most of these people just stop looking for work and they waste the money on booze. Teach them to fish, give them the tools to fish... but never just give them the fish.
