Why are there so many users that play on gaming sites that do not even display who they are owned by? The terms and conditions shown on those websites are a joke, they are useless as they do not offer any information about who owns the websites and therefore who is liable in the event of a scam.
As long as its enticing, people will simply sign up and play. After all, how many would play detective? Either the owner is a nobody or people are too lazy to do their research. Unlike brick and mortar establishments.
TOS also mainly benefits the owner so they don't matter much for the end users.
When these gaming sites shut down unannounced taking with them the funds that belong to users - then it tarnishes the reputation other gaming sites too or at least makes users look at the whole thing with suspicion
