tell the difference as of this moment compared to those previous years and take note, joining airdrops now do have certain task or the worst you would need to comply some KYC before you would able to get the giveaway. Sounds dumb right?
airdrop before do also require some task like tweeting/retwetting or following thier social media account and any other task same as airdrops today but airdrops before dont ask for a kyc , i think that is only the main difference that have change now when it comes to airdrops and also on bounties but its does not sounds dumb to me . kyc is not a dumb thing to do or only for dumbs but its a rule or a law that one must do to be able to verify that he is legit
