What new Zclassic introduced technically ?   Nothing ... Its just a poor copy of ZCash with few modifications... Only innovative coins can be valuable not clones of them. Additionaly this clone (Zclassic) turned out to be scam (similar to bitcoin private of the same team).

Monero was a pure 1:1 copy of Bytecoin early on, look where it is today. Has it progressed to add more features in time, absolutely, but like zclassic it was a copy launched to correct a community grievance (that of bytecoin being massively premined likewise as zclassic gets rid of the founder’s reward).

Rhett’s antics with btcp are irrelevang to zclassic, the fact is it is still a fairly launched coin that people were paying several dollars for long before its fork drama and there is a new team running things now anyway. It is starting to finally deviate from zCash by going asic-resistant as well.

I’m not expecting $200 again anytime soon but $5-$10 are absolutely doable and would still maintain a modest marketcap. It’s got enough fundamentals for me to gamble on.

When people want to create something better they launch a new project without Premine ICO and other shit.
But they should not use the forks chain of an existing coin to do so.
The same applies to all Bitcoin [A-z]+ forks.
When people start using these methods it always ends in failure.
Even those forks projects that are still alive after a while they are waiting for the same fate.

In addition, this method devalues the very concept of blockchain as the basis of a chain of unchangeable data.
Investing in such projects as this, experienced crypto users also devalue the concept of cryptocurrency and allow all sorts of scammers to earn on beginners who are not yet fully understood in these technologies.
