It would be kinda interesting to do this for all ranks, except Legendary, just because something has been bugging me these past couple of weeks.

Bitcointalk user Buwaytress has been on Hero rank for so long and I'd really like them to finally rank up to Legendary.
I know they don't bring in the huge merit amounts, but they've been consistently contributing to Bitcointalk IMO.
They're just 34 merit away from ranking up to Legendary and I think it's time that that happened

Thanks for posting this.I still have a huge pile of sMerit to send, and recently I've sent large amounts a few times to make someone Rank up. Just like theymos said:
~if they have decent posts, by all means, give them the 250 or 500 merit that they need to rank-up.
