Anybody have problems with their AntMiner Just shutting itself off Randomly ??
sounds like a faulty or underpowered psu.  Is your ant overclocked?  and what is your psu that you are using for it?

My First Unit was a 600 Watt one ...

my Any is not Over clocked at all

The new Power Supply is a Coolmax  ZU-700B   700 Watt
I must say that since updating the firmware from the github a few days ago my units have started to lose connection randomly and start beeping... once I log in via the webgui it stops beeping and starts hashing again with nothing in the system log... strange!
I am guessing there is something wrong with your network settings.
If it only starts hashing when you log in it means it is using your pc internet connection not it's own.
Or at least that's what I think.
I am guessing you have it on WiFi?
Nope, not on wifi, on ethernet straight to the router and nothing has changed in my network settings. The thing is that it doesn't need my pc to connect to the internet, it connects on its own and hashes fine, it's just that on the last 2 evenings and this morning only one of them (not always the same one) would randomly stop hashing and start beeping. Originally I just turned it off and on again, but last night I logged in via the gui to check the log and make sure ntp client wasn't on and it just started hashing again. Then, it did the same thing this morning with nothing in the log.

I have 2 machines with the same settings, connected to the same router, hashing on 1 address at the same pool... I would expect both of them to go down if it was either the pool or my internet connections or my network settings, but it's at random times and only 1 of them will go down while the other is fine... just strange and was wondering if anyone else might have noticed that... I've had them for more than a month and they've been very stable, running for days without interruption, until I did the upgrade... I'll keep an eye on them and if it continues I'll load the backup firmware and see if it makes a difference.

Yeah I think you should go back to the old firmware.

Why did you upgrade anyway?
Was it broken?
