This is really a long game so lamenting the fact that bitcoin hasn't taken over in 10 short years is kind of absurd. Think about how long it has taken for the US Dollar to get to where it is today (just over 100 years). Now think about how long gold has had to develop into what it is today (countless centuries).

Bitcoin is money and we should have an appropriate time horizon when analyzing its impact.
