There is no religion that can save you. Religion has a deeper meaning. People need to have faith, that after bad days or weeks there will always be good days etc. Religious gives a lot people strength to live their lives and inspire others. It is something you believe and count on. If you look at this as saving than the answer is yes.
But people always want to make their religion superior and to achieve it they disrespect people from other religions which results in mob lynching etc
Silent believe in religion is good but excess showoff is dangerous
