who knows, maybe 5 years from now, we'll see some results.
Hopefully not that long. The only company in the list I really care about is Starbucks, because they seem to be pondering the idea of accepting crypto--at least by the last statement in the linked article in the OP. I know their big thing is using blockchain tech to track coffee (not sure if that's going to be popular or not), but they have some involvement with Bakkt and it was hinted that:
The coffee company was said last August to be working to develop practical, trusted and regulated applications for consumers to convert digital assets into U.S. dollars.
Now, I've no idea what that really means but Starbucks does have a history of being progressive and tapping into trends. It'd be nice if they actually started to take bitcoin as payment--but we'll see. I've been hearing the same rumors for years as well.
Happy to see the market is slowly adapting crypto currenices espeicaly bitcoin.
I think all of this is about adopting blockchain technology rather than bitcoin, in which case I don't think this is necessarily going to be a boost for any particular cryptocurrency.
