If there are 20 pages of discussion, everything that could be said was already said. You will just repeat what someone else already said. There is no pointing in posting on these threads (unless it is a very specific case).
You should look for topics with few replies (0-10), not with 20 pages of replies (400+).
I do not agree with your opinion. The forum has a tree structure and topics are its branches. There are no large trees with only small branches, and bitcointalk is a very large tree.
