Buy ethereum when you prefer to do trading often. It is needed in every transactions. The potential for ETH to increase in price and value is still in there, it just need some time before many whales find it more useful again for their projects same with BTC but I prefer to buy and hold it since we never know when the bull is coming. We need to still have it.
