Hmm, what if Rockets got loss? Others will say they are not ready in the upcoming season? lol.
Win or loss, a single game will not dictate anything. Chemistry concerns, it will build along the way.
NBA teams are always ready. Never heard of a team that is not prepared to enter the season even with no superstars nor known role players on the lineup lol. These players are paid. They should always be ready and lived with their contracts.
And that game against the Sharks is already a deciding game. Rockets players can do whatever they want without coach permission.
True and I am not looking at the score or whoever wins.
I am looking at how the Rockets are playing.
Somehow their practices will be seen in how they will play and I can see Harden changing something.
It could be something good or really bad if it works or not.
Somehow it looks like the offense will be divided and I want to see more Westbrook aggressiveness attacking the paint and then more Harden shot with less dribbles.
But at that game they are still control preventing scouts to see every gameplay made for them.
We arent going to see any of the real season type play in preseason. Preseason is to figure out the bench 11-15 guys really. Like any sport no one is going 100% in pre season. It's to work on new plays and rotations and seeing what works and what doesnt work. We shouldnt see the final product in houston until around game 15 or 20, it will take a couple of live real games to get the fluidness of Westbrook and harden together.
