If it will be like Libra , which have rumors that can cause identity revelations for users then that's likely a China thing tats why they decide to create their own cryptocurrency, they may put many restrictions on it or limited only in their country. I hope it will give a better market once released if they will not limit their operations in different exchanges and applications.
