Well, nothing prevents you from investing in Bitcoin itself and waiting for a couple of years. However, I realize that it might not be enough. If you want to support a project, you can choose something that will boost adoption. If you are profit-oriented, you can also consider investing in the bankroll of a casino that accepts cryptocurrencies. I am not sure what returns you could expect, but people do tend to lose the money in casinos, so I suppose it could be profitable for you.
I was also thinking that there is not currently a proper market of crypto-related projects people could invest in. I, for one, really believe that an unfilled niche that could get important in the future is crypto-insurance companies, and I would be interested in buying some shares of such a company. But such companies barely exist, let alone shares to buy...
