How would you prevent botnets? Are you familiar with pinball and at the end where match two digits gets you a free replay? I thought perhaps to enter some chance and randomness into mining, the miner can only create an acceptable block if they match last digit/letter from the previous 10 block hash, merkleroot, biblehash, or something else in the blockchain.


The biggest gain is that it takes the burden off of you to run and maintain a pool. Another option is YIIMP pool (https://github.com/tpruvot/yiimp). No set up for miner other than the receive address.
